It’s not too late for your perfect summer getaway

It’s not too late for a summer escape and we are here to take the strain away and find your perfect break.

Whether you’re still looking for that main holiday, a late recharge or a special experience, the Beaver Travel team are on hand to help. And who better to guide you than people who genuinely love to travel themselves?

Here’s where we’re all heading soon, plus a few tips from the team.

Sally

Sally is off to Pine Cliffs, one of our favourite family resorts on the Algarve. It’s superb for golf, fantastic for families and a beautiful base for exploring the coast. Portugal remains one of Europe’s best-value luxury destinations.

Tina

Tina has a busy summer ahead. She’s on an educational work trip in Mauritius with Lusso right now – watch this space for her full review when she’s back. If Mauritius is on your wish list, she’ll be the person to talk to.

She also has a trip to Montenegro planned. This hidden gem has been on her radar for a while.

She’s also heading to Nerja in Spain, where she’ll be visiting the famous Caves of Nerja and exploring the beautiful nearby Moorish town of Frigiliana.

Tina’s top travel tip: Check in early, travel light and book the fast track at the airport to keep things stress-free from the start.

Gina

Long-haul specialist Gina has just headed back to Asia and is currently in Vietnam – you will be able to read about her adventures shortly. She says a Vespa tour is a must do whilst there, and a great way to explore the cities.

Gina’s top travel tip: Extend your holiday so that you can visit stunning neighbouring countries. In the case of Vietnam, it’s great to do a multi-centre trip that includes Cambodia.

Gary

Gary is heading to the Athens Riviera followed by a Mediterranean cruise on the Sun Princess.

Gary’s top travel tip: Simple but golden for cruising – pre-book your excursions and speciality dining reservations as early as possible so as not to miss out.

Sara

Sara is heading to South Africa – one of the world’s great destinations – and she can’t wait!

Sara’s top travel tip: Pre-book Robben Island, get up Table Mountain as soon as the weather is right, pre-book restaurants – and pack layers. It can be surprisingly cold on safari in the mornings and evenings.

Andrew

Andrew’s heading to Hawaii later in the year.

Andrew’s top travel tip: Treat yourself and fly business class – and consider a stopover on the way to break the journey and see another part of the US.
