Beaver Travel arranged a brilliant, well-constructed trip to South India for us – and we cannot thank Sara enough.
Our resorts were beautiful, each one charming and set in beautiful grounds with lots on offer if one wanted it.
We had an amazing guide and driver, Manju and Shine, who between them made the whole journey special. We saw temples and heritage sites; visited spice, tea and fruit plantations; and saw how bricks, tiles and idols were made. But the real highlights were chatting to the people in the street, seeing the beautiful, coloured saris – and being invited to Manju’s house to meet his wife and daughter for a cookery demonstration and a delicious lunch. Those are the moments you never forget.
Then our Emirates flights home via Dubai were cancelled due to the situation in the Middle East. Sara kept in touch with us throughout and really worked hard to get us home safely. Special thanks go to her for everything she did during what was a very stressful time.
