Sally Wallis

Director

A devoted mum of three and grandma of four, Sally brings that same warmth and care into her role as a Director at Beaver Travel. She grew up in Grimsby, Humberside, and now calls Bricket Wood, near St Albans, home.

She moved to London in the early 1980s and began her travel career at a small agency in the Haymarket, studying for qualifications on day release alongside. After a career break to start her family, she was excited to get back into the travel world, and it was actually a dinner party that changed everything – a chance introduction to Gary led to a part-time role at Beaver Travel, and the rest is history.

She joined the team in 1993 and was later given the opportunity to become a Director and part-owner of the company. With over 40 years in travel, Sally has won multiple travel awards for her service, something she remains genuinely humbled by.

What Sally loves most is putting together a multi-centre trip, excursions, tours and restaurant bookings all included, and seeing the satisfaction on a client’s face when they return. She always goes the extra mile: one client, travelling solo to Tenerife, was personally looked after from arrival. Sally contacted the hotel directly to make sure she was well cared for and had every restaurant booked, so she never had to worry about a thing.
